Lianne Smith has been working in the real estate field since 2019. She began her career in the Ontario market but, during the pandemic, met and married a Nova Scotian gentleman and relocated back to beautiful Nova Scotia — a place she fondly remembers from her childhood years. This return home reignited her appreciation for the province’s coastal charm and close-knit communities.
Lianne’s path to real estate is both unique and inspiring. After nearly two decades as an entrepreneur in the piano restoration and music retail industry, her life took an unexpected turn when a serious cancer diagnosis required her to make a career change. While convalescing, she seized the opportunity to pursue her real estate license — and soon traded the piano world for the property world. She’s never looked back.
Her background in restoration instilled in her an eye for potential — whether in a grand piano or a fixer-upper home. Lianne brings that same vision and dedication to helping clients see the possibilities in every property. With years of experience in home repair and renovation, she offers practical insight into the pros and cons of homes, helping buyers make confident and informed decisions.
While Lianne enjoys working with all buyers and sellers, she has a special soft spot for first-time homeowners. Guiding clients through this major life milestone is something she finds deeply rewarding. Her approach is grounded in integrity, honesty, and compassion — values she considers essential in building trust and making each transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible.
When she’s not helping clients, Lianne enjoys spending time with her husband and their big dog, Penny, volunteering in her community, and exploring Nova Scotia’s stunning landscapes and waterways.
