ViewPoint.ca displays property lines and accurate lot sizes for all 731,966 properties in Nova Scotia, all beautifully integrated into a Google Map.

Essential third party information

We've integrated aerial photography from Bing Maps, street view imagery from Google and ViewPoint (we have our own camera car), assessment history from Property Valuation Services Corporation (PVSC), sales history from MLS® and school data from the Halifax Regional School Board.

We felt the consumer wanted a single source of more information. We saw an opportunity to build a great business premised on providing consumers with a better way to explore, buy and sell real estate. We sensed that consumers would appreciate having a single, comprehensive, easy-to-use map-based system to access property and listing information.

Advanced Technology

We're completely self-contained technologically. We design, write and manage all the software that runs ViewPoint.ca including our own in-house data center, which can run for weeks without power.

We were right, but it's not been easy or cheap to do what we do. We're up for the challenge, in it for the long haul and inspired by the phenomenal consumer response to ViewPoint.ca.
